Brain Navi Innovates the Autonomous Surgical Robot
Brain Navi Biotechnology is a leading Taiwanese surgical robotic company. We design and develop innovative navigation and robotic surgery technologies for surgeons to improve surgical accuracy. Brain Navi’s exclusive Surface Mapping auto-registration Technology (SMART) is a significant surgical robotic breakthrough that merges machine vision, robotics, and AI technology to achieve streamlined surgical procedures with real-time imaging and minimal invasive outcomes.

NaoTrac
NaoTrac, the neurosurgical navigation robot, is equipped with a high-precision navigation system that patient registration is performed with a non-contact machine vision process. Moreover, surgical instruments are recognized in seconds with their patented registration algorithms. Hence, surgeons can choose the surgery pathway with a 3D vision for precise anatomical location during the pre-operating planning and monitor the robot during the entire procedure. “Utilizing NaoTrac to navigate the cranial reduces anesthesia time and improves the patient’s well-being by employing less invasive interventions,” said Jerry Chen, M.D., the CEO of Brain Navi Biotechnology.

Currently, robotic technology is showing promise in fields where a high degree of accuracy is required, including immunotherapy, cell transplant, and microchip implantation. Robotics and artificial intelligence are the future of healthcare. The NaoTrac received the CE mark and Taiwan FDA approval for brain surgery procedures and is planning to submit for FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) clearance by the end of 2022. Brain Navi is also developing robotic surgeries for the world’s top 10 cancer early treatments. Furthermore, applications like dental, lung, breast treatment and 3D single-use endoscopes for neurosurgery are currently under development. It’s Brain Navi’s vision to continue to improve and introduce the most state-of-the-art surgical robotic technology to enhance the well-being of humankind.
