THE NaoTrac ROBOT
NaoTrac is the first Autopilot Neurogurical Navigation Robot which was developed by Brain Navi Biotechnology. The main goal of inventing NaoTrac is to assist the surgeon to have an alternative neurosurgery assistant for higher precision. NaoTrac received 18 patents in technology, innovation awards, and currently in clinical trials.

AUTOPILOT
Robot-assisted neurosurgery simplifies surgical procedures without using a stereotactic frame or other landmarks fixed to the patient’s head while still under the control of the surgeon.

AUTOMATIC
Surface Matching Facial Recognition & 3D Moving Detector. Automatically calculating and adjusting the coordinates of patient positioning in the system and image fusion.

INTELLIGENT
With the Instrument Registration Technology of NaoTrac, the tool registration could be completed with high precision tips of the tool in seconds.
NEUROSURGERY PROCEDURE
Within the increasing demand for minimal invasive surgery, the neuro-navigation is a standard in neurosurgery worldwide. Nowadays, most of the navigation system is using the type of “vision-based optical tracking systems” during the registration step. The image-guided surgery has been applicated for intraoperative navigation assistance for the neurosurgical problems. However, it does require certain space between the device cameras, the probe, and the microscope remain unobstructed. Brain Navi Biotechnology innovated the “Autopilot” neurosurgical navigation robot, NaoTrac. With the combination of the computer, touched screen, machine vision, and robotic arm, it can assist in the surgery like Biopsy, Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS), SEEG, endoscopic surgery and EVD in the future. The main function is to localize the positioning and guide the surgeon to the surgical targets without the use of external frames.

Join our Mission to Improve Lives
Brain Navi Biotechnology was founded in 2015 with headquarters and main research and development centers in Taiwan. Brain Navi is focused on designing and developing a medical device that can assist surgeons during their medico-surgical interventions. With the outstanding doctors, researchers and developers in Taiwan to combine technical and clinical application experience, developing products driven by demand. NaoTrac, the Autopilot neurosurgical navigation robot is still under the design and development stage. Please support us to bring neurosurgery to the next level and improve patients' outcomes. We appreciate it from a simple like, share, partnership or investments.
WHAT'S IN FOR EVERYONE

PATIENT
The surgeon usually explains the estimated post-operative result. However, so many uncertain elements are contained during the surgery and out of the plan. NaoTrac’s machine vision can show the surgical pre-planning and the surgeon can explain what the post-operative effects will be.
NaoTrac is accelerating the process and enhancing the accuracy of preoperative work, reducing anesthesia time, minimally invasive care, and ensuring rapid recovery. These are the most desirable treatment outcomes for both surgeons and patients.
SURGEON
Experience inheritance is one of the main goals the Brain Navi team wishes to reach. Mostly, a new surgeon needs years of internship, operation, and study to be mutual during the surgery. Shorten the learning curves assists the experienced surgeon sharing by seeing the pre-planning data and the machine vision procedure.
HOSPITAL
A good communication between the doctor and patient will lead to frequent quality information about the patient’s disease and better health care for the patient and their family. The doctor-patient relationship is a key driver of hospital outcomes; both in promoting desired results and in preventing adverse outcomes.
Using a higher precision medical device helps enhance the image of the hospital. With pre-planning analysis, the patient can understand the situation to lower and prevent misunderstandings and increasing the confidence, so does the surgeon.
HIGH TECH
Technology is connecting to the people. With the assist of high technology, both hospitals and surgeons could be more focused on communication with and studies of the patient. With the high tech medical device, the patient would feel more confident about the professionality and precision of the surgery.
