NaoTrac, the Stereotactic Surgical Navigation Robot for neurosurgery, merges high-precision technology and surgeons’ experience to improve accuracy and result by streamlining surgical procedures and improving the learning curve equipped with Al, Machine Vision, and Robot-Assisted Surgery. Surgical navigation with non-contact registration, pre-operating planning preparation, and choosing the surgery pathway with a 3D vision for precise anatomical location. The unique autonomous procedure lets the surgeon plan and let NaoTrac act as his assistant.

NaoTrac is the first Autonomous Neurosurgical Navigation Robot, developed by the Brain Navi team. The main goal of innovating NaoTrac is to assist the surgeon in having an alternative neurosurgery assistant for high precision. NaoTrac has received more than 25 patents in technology and innovation awards and has completed more than 140 clinical cases.
NaoTrac is the first Autonomous Neurosurgical Navigation Robot, which was developed by the Brain Navi team. The main goal of innovating NaoTrac is to assist the surgeon in having an alternative neurosurgery assistant for high precision. NaoTrac received more than 18 patents in technology, innovation awards, and currently in clinical trials.
The core technology of NaoTrac S, SMART( Surface Mapping Auto-registration Technology) platform, is an improvement to the market. It eases the inaccuracies or limitation of current solution, like the movement through a physical connection from tracking target to stationary devices.
SMART(3D特徵圖資自動對位)平台是鈦隼生物技術的專利技術,運用機器視覺、機器手臂技術、與演算法,於手術時可達「即時影像」、「精準醫療」及「微創傷口」,成為主要核心使用之醫療技術。未來,我們將以全球十大癌症早期治療為研發方向。
花蓮慈濟醫療中心於歐洲知名期刊《Acta Neurochirurgica》上發表了有關腦室外引流術式(EVD)置入結果的摘要。該報告的結果表明,嵌入在NaoTrac上的SMART技術是可行且快速的。患者註冊的平均時間為1423.8秒。目標偏差的平均值為1.68mm,角度偏差的平均值為1.99度,均在可接受的組織損傷最小的容忍度範圍內。
“Using NaoTrac to perform EVD reduces anesthesia time, but it also improves the patient’s well-being through less invasive interventions. Most importantly, it has increased the degree of accuracy of the surgery to 1mm to 2mm,” said Shinn-Zong Lin, M.D. PhD., Superintendent of Hualien Tzu-Chi Medical Center. Ph.D. Dr. Lin also mentioned that “In the fields of immunotherapy, cell transplant, microchip implantation, etc., a high degree of accuracy is required. Therefore, NaoTrac not only executes EVD or tumor resection, but it also has the potential to collaborate with further fields.”

在台灣安南醫院進行了腦腫瘤切片手術,這是台灣南部地區首次安裝此設備並進行腦手術。
