Brain Navi Biotechnology is the leading surgical robot company in Taiwan, focusing on developing innovative solutions to improve patient outcomes in neurosurgery. We are dedicated to making neurosurgical procedures more efficient, precise, and accessible. Brain Navi was founded in 2015, located in Hsinchu Biomedical Science Park. 

Brain Navi mainly focuses on designing and developing medical devices that can assist surgeons during their medico-surgical interventions, with the outstanding doctors, researchers, and developers in Taiwan to combine technical and clinical application experience, developing products driven by demand.

Brain Navi Biotechnology is dedicated to advancing the development and research of cutting-edge neurosurgical navigation systems. In 2018, the company introduced NaoTrac, an autonomous surgical navigation robot purpose-built for skull-based neurosurgery. Setting itself apart with state-of-the-art technology, NaoTrac leverages machine vision to deliver precise and reliable surgical navigation.

We draw on the expertise of Taiwan’s leading doctors, researchers, and engineers, merging technical innovation with clinical insights to design products that address real-world needs. Participated CNS (Congress Neurology Surgeon 2019) Annual Meeting 2019 in Moscone Center, San Francisco, the United States. The First time published the clinical trial result of NaoTrac.

Signed the MOU with SMHeuristics

Signed the MOU with SMHeuristics from Boise, Idaho of the United States. The MOU is for further sales cooperation in USA medical device market.

Boise-based SMHeuristics will work on Brain Navi’s sales and marketing efforts in the United States.

ISO factory & ISO 13485 certified

Brain Navi Biotechnology officially becomes standard ISO factory, ISO 13485 certified.

NaoTrac performed the First-in-Human clinical trial at Hualien Tzu Chi Hospital, Taiwan.

NaoTrac, the first surgical navigation robot, completed the first surgery in Hualien Tzu-Chi Medical Center
