Neurosurgeons from Erasmus, Netherland

International Neurosurgeons Experience Exchange and Training

Hualien Tzu-Chi Medical Center, Taiwan.   October 29, 2023

Brain Navi Biotechnology has successfully completed another international exchange and training mission. Professor Clemens Dirven, the Head of the Department of Neurosurgery at Erasmus University Rotterdam, which ranks among the top 100 universities in the world, along with Professor Arnaud Vincent, the Director of Neurosurgical Oncology, and two technology advisors responsible for smart healthcare and new technology integration, visited Taiwan to participate in the “Brain Surgery Robot Training Center.” This comprehensive training program included the previously completed Academy of Advanced Robotic Medicine online courses, hands-on training and simulations, as well as the observation of real surgeries, providing our international guests with a rewarding experience.
Hualien Tzu Chi Medical Center, responsible for training during this visit, not only focused on robotic surgery but also organized seminars and discussions on the latest technologies, such as smart hospitals, telemedicine, artificial intelligence, and stem cells. Through these exchanges, similarities and complementary aspects of medical research between the two hospitals were discovered, paving the way for potential future collaborations, adding an extra dimension to this trip.
Brain Navi Biotechnology’s latest technologies, NaoTrac and KrystoLens, have attracted collaborations with top universities, serving as a bridge to connect Taiwan with the international community. We look forward to this perfect starting point leading us into Europe, showcasing Taiwan’s technological prowess.
Proost op de toekomst! (cheers for the future!)
